Renault is a French car manufacturer established in 1899 by the Renault family. They focus on producing cars and vans but in the past they made trucks and buses. Renault is very well known in the motorsport world as they have succeded in BTCC, WRC and Formula One.
History[]
Renault was established and found on February 25, 1899 by Louis Renault and his two brothers Marcel and Fernand. All of them were very talented engineers who started making models. They started to make engines before moving on to they dream, cars. The first car was the Renault Voiturette 1CV. Since it success, Renault made more cars, one being the Renault Laguna which rose to success in BTCC.
